ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA: Global Ports Investments PLC has appointed Albert Likholetas CEO of the Global Ports. Albert will continue in his role as the Managing Director of Petrolesport and FCT. He replaces Vladimir Bychkov in his new role.
Before joining Global Ports group, Albert Likholet was CEO of NLE Novoroslesexport in the port of Novorossiysk.
LONG BEACH: Sharon L Weissman, the recently retired senior advisor and transportation deputy to Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia, has now joined the Long Beach Harbour Department.
MILFORD HAVEN, UK:The Port of Milford Haven, the UK’s top energy port and Wales’ busiest port, handling around 20% of Britain’s seaborne trade in oil and gas, has appointed three new non-executive directors to its Board, with effect from 1st September 2020.
Debra Bowen Rees, who has just stepped down as CEO of Cardiff Airport will focus on stakeholder relations; Erica Cassin will focus on HR, and was formerly HR Director at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, based in London; James Nyhan is an independent energy consultant and will focus on the port’s involvement in energy transition. They will shadow Andrew Edwards, Anne Jessop and Rick Squires for a few months before the latters’ tenures as non-execs come to an end.

ALAMEDA COUNTY: Labour leader Andreas Cluver has been elected President of the Port of Oakland’s governing Board.
Oakland Chamber of Commerce President, CEO Barbara Leslie was elected the Port Board’s First Vice President.
Commissioners selected Oakland architect Yui Hay Lee as Second Vice President.
Andreas Cluver succeeds Ces Butner who had been Board President for the past two years. Butner remains remain on the Board as a Commissioner.
Arabella Martinez was also reappointed to the port Board.

BLACK SEA PORTS:Rosmorrechflot has appointed Yevgeny Tuzinkevich as the Head of Russia’s Black Sea Ports Administration. A former mariner, YevgenyTuzinkevich has worked in various capacities in a number of ports. He was formerly Harbour Master of the port of Novorossiysk.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA:Qube Holdings Ltd has announced the appointment of Jackie McArthur to its board of directors with effect from August 2020. Ms McArthur has more than 20 years’ experience at executive and board level roles in general management and strategy, supply chain and logistics, operations, food and packaging manufacturing, emerging brand issues and crisis management.
PORTS OF THE DOURO LEIXÕES AND VIANA DO CASTELO (APDL): Nuno Araújo has replaced Guilhermina Rego as president of the Board of Directors at the Ports of the Douro Leixões and Viana do Castelo (APDL). He will occupy this post until 2022.
Existing board members CláudiaSoutinho and Joaquim Gonçalveswill both remain in post.
The term of the previous administration, which was headed by Rego, ended in December 2019, although was extended by six months to the end of June. Rego originally took office in September 2017, when he replaced Brogueira Dias.

Dorothea Ioannoubecomes Deputy Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect whileMary (Molly) McCafferty becomes Senior Vice President and Director of Claims for the Americas, both effective the beginning of September.
