Following the recent hurricane in Miami, Port Everglades is undergoing a significant reconstruction effort to restore and enhance its infrastructure, with a strong focus on resilience, innovation, and sustainability. As one of Florida’s leading seaports and a critical gateway for international trade and cruise tourism, Port Everglades plays a vital role in the regional and global supply chain. In light of these developments, UK Ports members will be visiting the port this November to gain first-hand insights into the port’s recovery strategy, explore new opportunities for collaboration, and observe the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and best practices in port reconstruction and operations. The visit will also foster stronger transatlantic partnerships and promote trade and intertrade between the UK & USA.
